 “Dealing with Today’s Economic Challenges”
An Invitation to Attend from the NIAFPD Conference President
We are all dealing with the economic challenges to maintain service levels with our districts and may question spending additional funds to attend this educational conference. Now, more than ever we need to network and share concepts or practices to meet our fiscal responsibilities as District officials. We cannot just hope for better times. It is important you attend this educational opportunity to learn what others may be doing, or to discuss what we collectively may consider to meet our budgetary needs.

I strongly encourage your attendance at this conference to learn first-hand and hear from others through networking opportunities to address administrative and economic challenges we face. The conference offers educational opportunities for fire protection district trustees, pension fund trustees, commissioners and administrative personnel.

Please note the attendance incentive for this year's conference... A full 10% Reduction in Registration Fees. The Conference Committee reviewed our conference budget and have been able to exercise some cost-containment measures to provide this to all members and to assist in meeting our economic challenges.

I hope to see all of you at our conference to assist in the overall efforts to survive these economic times.

Ronald P. Kubicki, President
